Maria Perry grew up in Madrid (Spain) watching her dad paint oil paintings. At the age of 11 years old, after lots of drawing practice, she was allowed to do her first painting. It was 10 years later that she finished her second oil painting. As a child in Madrid, she used to visit almost every Sunday, with her dad at the Museo del Prado.

When she moved to Washington 22 years ago, she slowly started painting again, focusing mainly on the beautiful landscaping of Washington. Her focus is mainly anything that has water. Contact Maria: mariajperry@comcast.net
