A native of Portland, Oregon, I recently relocated to the vibrant art community of Olympia, Washington (moving from one artsy city to another!). My interest in art began as a child and continued with a focus on art throughout high school and college. As a kid, going to the Portland Art Museum was a favorite outing. I love experimenting and learning and I have been fortunate to study with many well-known, generous and extremely talented artists throughout the Pacific Northwest. My primary focus is large works in oil and cold wax, and I also love incorporating collage into acrylic or oil pieces. During the pandemic, I started dabbling in digital media so when I don't have a pallet knife or brush in my hand, I'll probably have a stylus.
