My first career was teaching English at the middle school level in Northern California. After retiring I took classes in various media and gravitated to soft pastels which I studied for three years with a master pastelist. Later I was drawn to collage and studied that artform through a number of workshops and a college course. The medium allows me to try new ideas, techniques and papers and affix them to a variety of surfaces. Both media are represented on my website, www.sandracampbellart.com.
